GAVE fills in gaps for GA clients when there is no other resource to pay for a specific need. This may include a housing deposit for a GA client who doesn’t qualify for Season of Sharing funding because on their unemployed status or a homeless client who needs a night’s stay at a hotel when all of their GA housing funds have been exhausted.
